ZIONIST FARMERS.
TO THE MACCABAEAN:
There are many Zionists who wish to go to Palestine to settle there, but who do not know how to do it.
We are convinced that to obtain the land of our desire, it is necessary first of all to have there a strong class of Jewish farmers. In order to have such a class we must once forever leave the cities and get used to farm life. Therefore we appeal to all those young Zionists, who have a sincere desire to go to Palestine and make their future there as farmers to leave the cities and go to work on a farm, or if this is not so easy, to enter a farm school. The farm schools give an opportunity to get acquainted with different branches of agriculture and get used to farm life.

THE Zionist Actions Comite officially denies the Young Turks' party has demanded, in its platform, that Palestine should be transferred to Zionists. The statement had been circulated on the authority of Dr. Dillon, correspondent of the London Daily Telegraph.

RESOLUTION OF TEXAS ZIONISTS
At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Texas Zionist Association held in Dallas, August 30, the following was unanimously adopted:
Whereas, by accepting the position of Secretary to the American Federation of Zionists it became necessary for REV. J. JASIN to remove out of our state, and therefore to resign the Presidency of our Association, therefore be it
Resolved, that we accept his resignation with mingled feeling of regret and joy. That our state is losing an ardent Jew, a zealous worker for our sacred cause, one who is willing to sacrifice material prosperity for the welfare of Zionism, the Texas Zionist Association, having found him an efficient president and the Executive Board a valuable co-laborer, can but feel sorry that so eminent an Israelite and estimable gentleman, worthy Rabbi and faithful worker, will no longer share in our deliberations. Yet we are glad that the merit of his labors has received due recognition by the American Federation.
Resolved, that the American Federation of Zionists is to be congratulated on having obtained his services for the important position he is now to occupy.
Resolved, that this preamble and these resolutions be spread on our minutes, a copy be sent to Rev. Dr. J. Jasin, and that they be published in Tue MAcCcABAFAN, the Southwestern Judaist and in the Yiddish newspapers.
