Christian cycle; but in the beginning of the cycle of Bahaullah this divine promise, as is clearly stated in all the Books of the Prophets, has begun to be manifest. You can see that from all the parts of the world tribes of Jews are coming to
the Holy Land; they live in villages and lands which they make their own, and day by day they are increasing to such an extent, that all Palestine will become their home."

My people! It wanders.....and wanders.....and wanders.....and wanders; days, months, years, tens, hundreds, and thousands of years, since it wanders.
My people! It hopes.....and hopes.....and hopes. In spring, in summer, in autumn, and in winter, ever it hopes.
My people! It struggles, and struggles, with Fate, with enmity, and wonderful, it overcomes them.
My people! It seems to be weary, discouraged; yet it dares, and aims; will build, and destroy; it expects and abandons, is sentimental and indifferent, loves and respects, forgives and forgets, is simple and dignified, godly and humane.
My people! It dreams.....and dreams.....and dreams. In joy, in sorrow, in light, in darkness, ever it dreams. Of a gold-sanded land it dreams; where it sang its hymns, on the mountains. Flowery sides of valleys, where roses bloom in its depth, and foot-paths are lined with lilies; of seas of milk and honey, which moisten the soil of the Holy Land, the land wherein my people have lived. It dreams.....of mansions built of cedar, roofed with nuts and almonds, shaded by
palms and fig-trees; it dreams.....of evergreen pasturage by the waters of the Jordan; of its handsome, passionate shepherds, harping songs of love to their masters' daughters. It dreams of its holiday-processions, watched by men, on land and water, processions marching to the Temple, led by the echoes of the cherubim; dreams of its countless heroic army, carrying its white, with blue striped, banner, as the standard of universal peace! It dreams.....of its proud and fearless king, whose gaze mutes the enemy's warcry, whose smile makes them kneel and repent; who pledges his life for the bodies of his people, and will stake his body for their souls—who casts his crown in the name of Justice! It dreams of its king who is judge, sage, poet, and prophet—the King of Jehudah!
My people! It waits.....and waits.....and waits; wandering, hoping, seeking for eternal peace and happiness.
Dream.....dream.....it is godly to dream, it is human to realize dreams—and you are blessed with the divine power, to execute both!.....
Such is my people.
