Applications for membership are continually being received, in spite of the fact that the standard of membership has been continually kept up and, is even being raised. When first organized, all the members were undergraduates. Now, almost all are graduates of various collegiate institutions and are in the professions. There are hopes, based on solid grounds, that the organization will, in time, become the most important centre of Jewish culture in the United States.
